Here is our new family member. I found him back in Dec running into traffic. We put up posters everywhere....drove looking and asking if

anyone had lost a dog. No one ever called on him

Miranda named him Tybalt. I just call him Tippy.

I dream of being a Mermaid as a child. I

remember being about 3 yrs old and playing

in our pool pretending I was living under water

as a Mermaid. My Mom once told me about

a girl she knew growing up that wanted to be

a CARROT when she grew up. Well, if she

could be a carrot...then forsure I could be

a Mermaid. : )

Here she is Abby Cat (nick name) my SIL, Joanna as given her.

Grandma (Joanna) is holding Abigal Catrina hand. Abby Cat is doing well as are her parents Amanda and Vincent. Look at all her hair.

What's with the dirt???

As you know Dave comes from a Hispanic back ground. On one occasion Samantha brought up an interesting question for her Dad. She was around the age of 2 years old. Dave had come home from work and he washed up for dinner. Samantha had a questionable look on her face. She asked her Dad why he had not washed all the dirty off of him. He said...that he had. She replied....no, there was still dirt on him. He said, no there isn't. Samantha started to rub his arm very roughly, saying "all this dirt" why won't it come off. Dave and I looked at each other and started to laugh. We had to explain to her that Dave's skin was darker then hers. We put our arms side by side...to show her how each of us had different skin tones. I wonder how long she had ponder this in her little mind. She now tell me at the age of 25 that she did wonder as a child why he went in to take a shower but, still came out looking the same.....with dirt still all over him.
